American Sniper: Memorial Edition

American Sniper: Memorial Edition - Chris Kyle, Scott McEwen, Jim DeFelice This book gave a lot of interesting perspective to the military, the war in Iraq, on the elite teams doing spec ops. What stood out a lot to me is the way most of those guys see everything as either black or white, with no possibility for a gray area. I understand why they make that distinction, at least as much as someone without the experiences they have can. If they allow themselves to think about the potential that maybe not all the bad guys are truly or completely bad, they'll go officially crazy. So while I get that...it makes me sad. Because I don't think it's really that cut and dried, but it really does come down to well, this guy is trying to kill me. Therefore I have to kill him.
